Fourth cohort of Salt Spring graduates placed in jobs following training

At just 34 years old, Dominic Morgan, founder of Dame’s Electrical and Home Renovation Services, is proving that with determination, skill, and the right support, small sparks can ignite big opportunities. The impact of the support [from Project STAR] goes beyond income. Dominic has also been able to share his knowledge with others in his Parade Gardens community. Some evenings, he takes time to teach friends and associates the basics of electrical work.

Project STAR has officially launched its Kicking Forward Football Programme in May Pen, Clarendon, marking a significant milestone as the initiative expands into a fifth community. Marlon Moore, Youth & Sports Coordinator, shared that the programme is not just about introducing football sessions but implementing a deliberate framework of youth engagement and behavioural change.
